Ah. yes—the bread that will forever be known as the bread everyone obsessed over during the pandemic (sorry, focaccia). The frenzy over the bakery stalwart had some giving their own say as to what goes into the perfect loaf. Three years later, here we are sharing some of our favorite takes on a classic—resulting in a crisp crust and a light, airy center, and providing the perfect compliment to any meal.

JOSHUA WEISSMAN’S BASICS (WITH BABISH) SOURDOUGH
One of our favorite culinary content creators of the last few years is Andrew Rea, otherwise known as his YouTube alter-ego Babish on his popular channel, Binging with Babish, where he makes meals seen in movies and television.
